Part-time Technician

Israel has been assistant technician on and off over several years with Innirvik. He was born in then, Frobisher Bay.  Early in his life following his parent’s move and later on his own, he has lived in Nanisivik, Igloolik, Ottawa, Cambridge Bay, Rankin Inlet, Yellowknife, Pond Inlet, and Iqaluit.

Israel, also known as Isu, has held other positions like Assistant Youth Advisor, Events Organizer, Parks Patrol/Community Heritage Officer, Finance Manager, Sales Representative, and Supervisor of Security for the private sector, GN, and Federal Government.

Israel and wife Donna have five kids.  To supplement income to feed his family, he carves and does intricate etchings on glassware which he sells.  He also supports environmental-related lobbying and the Feed My Family efforts.
